Author Topic: Hey guys, can you help me with something?  (Read 1312 times)

I'm not sure, I've never tried booting from anything other than a CD or Floppy Diskette.
Probably though, so long as you got your BIOS to recognize it as a hard-drive (which is very easy mind you.)

If your parents will do it you can get a prebuilt that would cost you under $20 a month payments but the interest would be ridiculous, maybe you can work out something with your parents where they pay for it and then take your allowance until it is paid off, but I am guessing your parents are pretty broke if your allowance is $5 a week for being a farmhand.

Well.
No nevermind. I'd just rather add a good HDD into the cost/build. I'll forget about using the ExHDD for that.

My mom said no as to buying it for me. So I have to save up allowance.
Of course, if I buy it online, I'll pay them and they'll buy it.

$5 a week, especially for taking care of animals, seems ridiculously low. I would see a lawyer about child labor and maybe get your parents to settle out of court for a large sum of cash.

I'm 11.
I do barely any work.

This isn't the best computer, hopefully someone will come and correct me. The subtotal is ~$390, but shipping to Saskatchewan might be cheaper than to where I'm located.
Case
Hard Drive
Motherboard
Video Card
Power Supply
RAM x 2
Processor

EDIT
I just did some calculations and it will take about 74 weeks to get the money for this computer, and it will be WAY outdated then.
Save up a lot of money or possibly get a job.

I do chores such as:

Feed the pets.
Gather chicken eggs.
Take out trash.
Clean pet cages/litter
Clean the house (living room, bedroom, bathroom etc.)

and a bit more.

not much at all.

is there even anything left to do when you've done all that? lol

Here's the low-down.

You can play all of these games on a PC for 500 dollars, easily.

It must be built by yourself though.

Those chores are per day.

What does that mean? fill out the sentence or something

Done every day.

Looks like the only option is to become a prostitute on the side if you want to afford a computer that good.

I dunno, even if you're family that'd come out to way more than $5 a week pay.
Hell, you could make more money mowing a single lawn for a neighbor, which would take nowhere near as long
