Droid X Android 2.3 update

Recently I accidently started the install for Android 2.3 on my Droid X.
I did not let the install finish yet.

So, what is the best method of basically downloading 2.2 back onto my Droid X?
I know I can find a 2.2 update somewhere but how can I download it to work on my Droid?

A while ago, due to an update someone can no longer simply plug in a droid to a PC and edit files, which is the problem.
