Author Topic: I do believe I got robbed by my "friend".  (Read 2818 times)

Well heres how it started:

A couple of a weeks ago round August my friend borrowed 5 games from me, and a few weeks into school i ask for them ALL back and he only brings back 4/5 of the ones he borrowed. As soon as I notice not all are there I say "Hey wheres my other game?" and he walks away saying: "Oh some guy named Tony came over the other day with a box of 20 games and-" he walks away. Getting pissed that he may have sold my game I go up to him a few days later and try to ask him again where my game is. He says i have it over and over again and goes into his "Macho Tough Guy" mode. I returned today with a few others who hate the same kid for what else hes done to them and we try to get him to give it back.

What do i get?

The same loving thing.

Now heres something you should know:

1. I keep all my console games on a shelf and always deal with them once i get them back from a friend.
2. I took a pic of all my games on the shelf and i didn't see the one that was missing
3. Knowing this kid who took a ton of my money over the summer and spent it on stupid stuff he probably sold it.
4. He posts a pic on facebook the other day with 2 30$ nexon cards. He doesn't have a job and he usually gets money from other people. This further gives me reason to believe he sold it.

I have a high reason to believe he is either keeping the game at his house or he sold it to one of his friends for cash.

Now this may sound stupid, but I think somebody stealing my own stuff I bought with MY money is an annoyance.

If he has done this multiple times, inform the school. This is theft.

school can't take action on this.

The school can't do anything about this unless it was their property.
Talk to his mother.

God, I hate these people. My cousin(who is 29 years old) stole my mom's necklace once, which really made her sad because she got it from her grandma who is dead now. It had some real sentimental value to her.

He also stole my brother's DSi.

Worst comes to worst get the police involved. And I mean that as the absolute last resort.

There was this one kid in 6th grade that was the master of all Middle School thieves.
He would literally open people's backpacks while they were walking, successfully take out their valuables, and close it up without anyone noticing. You could be sitting next to him in class and he could be taking stuff out of your backpack.

Once the word got he had already sold most stuff and ended up selling over $180 dollars worth of used iPods, video games, a PSP, and a DSI, some cell phones, our gym coaches Zune, and that is all that I know about.
He completely got away with it and this is what pisses me off. What makes it worse is that I was his friend.

I could try this, the little stuff gets in enough trouble already and his parents getting mad at him would be alot more deserving than a fight (if it comes to one)

Not to mention he used my money to buy crappy stuff and never paid me back. He also spent 500$ total on my phone bill cause he was always on it.

That I can agree with, but knowing him I highly doubt I will have to get the police.

So guy named "Tony" came over to his house. Did he have greasy hair and look ugly and express his hate for bronies?

So from the sound of the story your friend isn't a friend who deserves your friendship. He will probably end up stealing from you more in the future. Definatly cut him off if this stuff keeps happening. As for your lost game you should keep confronting him about it and his parents/gaurdain.

1: NEVER LET HIM BORROW A GAME AGAIN.
2: ASK FOR CUT OF WHAT HE GOT

theres a reason everyone calls him a Jew at school (no offense)

He uses people for money and never pays back.

I'll get my Gestopo to bust him.
