Author Topic: I think my computer is dead.  (Read 883 times)

So, today I powered on my pc. Instead of booting, it just displays a blinking underscore. If I try to put my WinXP Pro disk and boot with it, it only shows "Standard PC with C-Step486" which has never happened before. If I try booting via Boot Disk again, it just shuts off after loading all the files.

Now what?

We've had it since like, 2004. I think. I just don't know how to tell my parents.

"OH NO IT'S A VIRUS"
"YOUR FAULT"

Yeah it's your games

totally not their toolbars

nononono

They got a new computer a few years ago, and gave the one I have now to replace my Win2k PC. I completely reformatted it when I got it. Although, my parents don't want me using their computer. Well, why don't you let me have internet on my computer? Then I wouldn't HAVE TO USE YOUR COMPUTER. THINK ABOUT IT.

sorry son, your mother and I aren't ready for you to use our computer >:(

Yeah it's your games

do your best to fix it, and if you cant, you might as well tell them.

If I can't reinstall, then I might.
