So, there's a beautiful girl in my textiles/art/photography class who I met with when i first moved into the school, we both got along fine in the first few months, i discovered she was a gamer when me and my friend both discussed Minecraft and various steam games, and she joined in, talking about how she loves playing the Halo series, and others such as Grand Theft Auto, she then mentioned the red and blue series on youtube.
Then things took off when she asked me about what one of my art pieces was about in my art portfolio, I told her it was Steampunk styled, and she said she was happy that other people other than her that she knows love the theme, she loves vintage-styled things, but it was a surprise that she also had an interest in Steampunk in particular.
We discussed about steampunk stuff, and she told me that she has a pair of steampunk-styled goggles, which she said she'd bring into school to show me. (And she eventually did, they looked awesome.)
So, basically it turns out we both had very similar interests, Gaming, art and photography, she even mentioned that she played Minecraft, we literally couldn't run out of ideas of things to talk about, or get bored of it.
After that, she's always been happy to see me when we come together, usually waiting to be allowed into our art class, and lately, one of my best friends (who is also in my class, and usually sitting near her) told me that the girl mentioned how she wants to 'ask me out', which was a huge surprise.
Anyway, discuss, I'm so happy, not only does she look great, but we both share the same interests, and she isn't slutty/goth/scene/emo/whatever, she was herself.
Anyway, in before "stick it in your/her/his pooper", as tradition in most "guys i'm going to get a girlfriend" threads.
