Author Topic: How effective would humans be in hand-to-hand combat with an animal?  (Read 1593 times)

Probably if someon had a knife it would be easier to kill a wolf or something.

But they'd have to be like, really loving good.

We were never made to beat up animals with our fists, so this is an unfair fight, unless if the human can use something nearby as a weapon.

coyote and bobcat are like small leopards.  you can easily kill them

and obviously a racoon I would just be like, "Pshaw bitch, out my woods."

I find it funny how everyone is acting life a tough-ass and saying they would beat it to death, but if anyone were in the situation where they were being attacked by an animal, they would run and get eaten.

Humans are strong enough to kill through constriction, so if you can get around the teeth and claws and get the high ground, crush the creature to death. Of course this is only with medium sized creatures such as wolves bobcats and smaller. Anything larger would have to require a blade or gun.
