Author Topic: I have to re-enter my key  (Read 917 times)

So, I bought a new computer a while ago and installed Blockland on it. It's still on my old computer, but nobody plays it. But every so often I have to re-enter my Blockland key. It's quite annoying. And I have a laptop so I go in and out of internet if that matters. Is there a way to fix this?

Ok

1. When ever you connect to a different IP/Router (I think it's only router) you have to re-enter your key.
2. I recommend not using two different routers unless you can pm Badspot that you are, because it can cause in a key revoke.

What if I deleted Blockland from my old computer? That won't help, will it?
Oh hang on, I'm only using one router though... it just randomly does that. Sometimes even when I know my computer was connected to the internet the whole time.

Do you any chance have it on a flash drive?

See, I used to take my flashdrive everywhere and play blockland, each computer I got on, I had to re-enter my key.

Well, my old one was a mac, and this is a PC, so I transferred the add-ons, screenshots and saves. That's it.

This only happens if the IP using your key continuously jumps by a very large distance

Oh ok

is the key.dat read only?

What does that mean?
it would mean that you need to make it non read only, so that BL can write to it and save it
