I awoke at 7:12, according to my watch. I enjoyed the embrace of the jet's seat. I opened the thermos of coffee I had in the jet, drank several gulps, and got out of my jet, giving it a pat and a slight hump and departed for breifing.

The doctor came in to check on me. Thankfully my woody was gone. "Hey, doctor, does any of my medication have strange side-effects?" "No, why? Are you feeling ill?" "No, I was just... wondering."

He smiled, then he finished checking on me (broken left tibia, all left toes fractured, and a sprained ankle) and left.

I woke up in the morning particularly grouchy. Last night's ordeal sat heavily on my mind as I tried to sleep yesterday. I take a hot shower, get dressed in my uniform, and head over to the briefing room to get the info on today's mission.
