Author Topic: Games are getting boring.  (Read 1864 times)

I'm not talking about "nowa-days" games, I'm talking about games in general. Its like I used to be able to sit in front of my computer for hours at a time playing Blockland, Steam games, maybe Minecraft, what ever. Now.. I don't know, they aren't as interesting as they used to be. I think I'd rather be talking to friends, playing guitar, or chatting with girls.

I think I'm starting to sway away from games.

Or perhaps its because I haven't been mind blown by a game for a while,
but probably not.

unless you actually buy games regularly, it's hard to keep playing a game over and over, it will lose it entertainment value over time

I think I'd rather be talking to friends, playing guitar, or chatting with girls.

These are absolutely great things to be doing, and they are A LOT better than playing computer games.

It's fine to loose interest in games, because it's just like loosing interest in anything else.

I think I'd rather be talking to friends, playing guitar, or chatting with girls.

You say this like its a bad thing...

Socializing grows on you. Happened to me. I rarely play games these days, and when I do it's for maybe, an hour, then I go outside and to a friends house or chat on facebook :/

I have a wide collection of games from 1990 to 2011.

I have a great balance between a social life outside or other things along with playing video games. It's really not hard.

Just don't constantly talk about video games as a means of conversing with friends. If someone hits me up, I'll surely go with them, but when I'm not busy, I'll be playing with my gecko/dog, doing a hobby, or soon to be blowing my mind with Battlefield 3, Skyrim, and Saints Row: The third  :cookieMonster:

If those games aren't going to blow your mind, then you're truly just growing out of it and nothing is wrong with that

Buy BF3 when it's released in a few weeks.
Then you won't be bored.

I remember when my brother started to lose interest.

We'd just gotten the game cube, and the first games we got were Mario sunshine and Metroid Prime.
He never really got around to finishing them.

I'd usually spend a lot of my time watching him play games like FF7, and Mega-Man Legends (Coolest loving games btw) but once he hit high school, he never picked up a control again. Which is the same situation for me, I've been so into my first year of High school, games just aren't as Super Fun as I remember them to be.

Saints Row: The third looks amazing.

I rather wait for the next GTA game instead of getting Saints Row 3.

The world's gonna end.

Same here. I don't even play a quarter of the games I own cuz I just sorta lost interest.
