Thanks if you can do this. :D

Current specs?

Oh yeah. Umm, lemme see:

1 GB RAM
Athlon 64  processor 2.2 GHz.
Nvidia 6200 Turbocache
Good case.
1440x900 monitor.
No idea of PSU, pre-built, will check later when I open it up.

Yeah pretty stuffty, but I just need processor RAM and graphics card pretty much.

You need a new motherboard, too.

You need a new motherboard, too.

forget you i dont have money :c.

then suggest me parts please, just don't make it exceed 350.

A8N?
That won't even run Windows Vista due to a BIOS problem.
Not worth it TBH. It'd be better building a new system for that price, with an upgradable motherboard.

Impossibru.
With every A8N and K8N I have encountered, including my own back in the day, they always get huge problems on Vista and 7, with incurable BSOD's and restart cycles.

Do you need an OS?

no.

I dont need a case, PSU, or HDD. (Maybe PSU if I find out my current one isn't good enough)

Which card should I get? Max is like 180 dollars for me. GTX 460? 6870?

If that's your budget and that's separate from the actual computer, get a HD6870.
What's your PSU?

No the budget is still part of the previous computer.

As for PSU, I still have to check. My dad said it might be a 500W, so until then I'm not going to include the PSU as a part of this, if it's not good, then I'll find something up.

Also, is this good?

I wouldn't buy a recertified item, especially if it's the same price but not much better as the HD6870.
Also make sure it's a good quality 500W. Nothing worse than frying your system on a PSU that can only achieve 70% of it's rated W.

Damnit, is there anyway of scanning the PSU without opening up the case?
