Author Topic: V20 infected? (not badspots fault but maybe a hacker)  (Read 1511 times)

I have noticed that norton picked it up as a virus high risk. Before I got v20 I had all viruses removed but after I got it all 3 of my security scanners went wack. Is this a way of someone distributing a major virus throughout the community? My computer is currently being formatted and restored. Idk if anyone else has had this problem or not so I decided to post. If anyone else has this same thing post here because you may not be the only one that has this problem.

If you downloaded it from the official Blockland website then there's nothing to worry about, there's just something throwing an alert with how its files are set out (most likely because it's in My Documents now). Just allow or ignore it on all of the virus scanners. You're silly for formatting your computer without finding out what a virus is first anyway bro.

To solve this, follow this simple 3-step instruction:

1st step:  Gently put Norton in your Recycle Bin.

2nd step:  Delete your Recycle Bin.

3rd step:  Install a different security software program and get a new Recycle Bin.

I got it from the site. Not silly because my whole system got corrupted. Placing it in the recycle bin does not completely remove it btw. I was talking to some guys from on Internet helper Thingy and they sai there has been reported of people that hack website servers and so when someone downloads something they get it. My dad and brother told me I should format it because everything got corrupted.

The aluncher loads for me but then Blockland does not

Also, Uninstal Norton and re-install something else.  Blockland just likely needs to be re-download.

"... removed but after I got it all 3 of my security scanners went wack. ..."

All THREE!?

Sweet Jesus, there's your problem.  Try to have only one virus scanner.  Why the forget do you have three?

I have had virus problems

I have had virus problems
Choose one and delete the others.

I have had virus problems
usually multiple virus scanners can conflict with each other its not smart to have more that one

I would say just delete Norton, but we all know that's damn near impossible.

i hate norton.
it always says something i download is a god damn virus. I deleted norton in the control panel and unistall programs.

Guys were not deleting a anti virus software just because you guys hate it. I think either someone needs to contact Norton or Badspot needs to fix something, cause I'm getting a little mad that I can't play.

The "risk" is that it is a not commonly downloaded file
