v20 problem - Automatic file downloading

is there any way at all to keep the game from overwriting files apart from the read-only trick
i won't blame anyone but myself if i break my game, but i am curious if there actually is

yeah i was thinking of that when i read his post as well lol.

that week was scary. people were getting banned left and right for the usually ignored stuff.
