People bitching about default edits after V20.

There are people going around bitching about how their default edits are getting overwritten every time they start blockland. Badspot did this for a reason, so people stop complaining on the forums if they've accidentally deleted or messed up an add-on.

If it's really that much of an issue to you guys then just rename the add-on or select "read only" for the custom stud textures or particles.

I'm not sure if this was done on purpose or not but it's slightly irritating me. In V19 I was able to have custom stud textures and particles and everyone on my server was able to see it as long as they had textures enabled when downloading. But now when I try replacing textures with another it reverts back default. I had lego style studs and blood particles and they keep reverting back to default.

Badspot says in that thread:

You cannot overwrite the default files.  For particle effects or gui textures, you should replace them via an add-on.  For brick textures you will have to wait for this feature to be implemented officially.

Yeah well I didn't know the exact issue until I found out and then I found the solution later on. I wasn't exactly bitching.
