Hi.
Today, i'm going to teach you how to make your graphics in any steam game perfect.
Got stretchy guns?
Can't see models?
Well here is the guide for you.

1. Right click on a game like tf2.

2. Select properties.

3. Select "Set launch options..."

4. Type in -dxlevel 81

5. Click "OK" then, click ok again.

6. Launch tf2

7. Close tf2

8. Go right click tf2 again.

9. Properties

10. Then remove the -dxlevel 81

11. Launch tf2

12. Play, with no graphics errors!

seriously I couldn't even play gmod without doing that (Thanks for the help Mark!) <-- he's the guy who taught me this

Enjoy :D

Nothing is more perfect than mat_picmip -10

Which has been disabled in most Valve games and seems entirely useless in Portal 2 ;~;

What does it do? 0.0

better solution: have a not lame computer.
honestly even before i upgraded it my 10 year old computer could handle tf2 on minimum settings. :B

Makes graphics better quality than high settings

I can't imagine why people would even run it in sub-DX9.

Texture quality. -1 is Very High in the options menu and 3 is low, but honestly Very High might as well be low...the Source engine probably has the worst "high" texture quality setting atm.

Less detail to render - less GPU power - more FPS for low end systems.
