Author Topic: Mouse jerks when I look around.  (Read 2226 times)

This isn't my trackpad (or mouse), but whenever I turn to look, it jerks the other way. I tried moving my cursor around outside the game, its just fine. I play the game, turn to look, it jerks around.

Ways to fix this?

Have you tried swapping out to a different mouse? Are you running full screen or windowed?

Yes, I have tried swapping out my mouse.

I'm in a windowed screen. I tried playing another game, like Portal and TF2, I never have this problem.

Trackpad? So you're using a Laptop?

Eather way, both Laser Mouses and Ball Mouses (or a Trackpad) will jerk out. If you're using a Laser Mouse, rub your thumb or index finger (that's what she said) on the Laser, there's probably dirt on it. If ball, just roll it around until you see dirt, if there is none, it's something else. For Trackpads, they just do that. My laptop will go to Zoom when I move it.

Did you read OP. It's only in-game. Otherwise this would go in off-topic.

Is the mouse made by Microsoft? We have problems with one of those.

Also, if it's wireless, try replacing the battery. Yes, I know you said that it only happens in BL, but try anyway.

I'm trying to tell everyone. It's not my mouse! Its the game!
