It actually looks like a line not hyperbola, that's what I get for not paying attention to the scale or looking at the function globally.
If you think about it, this makes sense. This is basically the line y=x+b where b is usually a very small number that is almost 0, except when x starts to approach -1 and then b starts to become very big.
If you want to see for yourself, compare this function to y=x at the values x=10, x=5, and x=1. You'll notice the difference between the two starts out very small but increases as you get closer to -1.
I fixed it before you quoted it telling me I was wrong. How does that even work?
I quoted it before you changed it otherwise I wouldn't have noticed that the equation was wrong.
