Author Topic: Is my wireless AP dying?  (Read 301 times)

Current one is a D-Link WBR-2310, with 802.11b/g (lol it's crap,) and I can't get that good of a connection with it currently (even when I'm wired to it.) It's been alive (not constantly powered on) for about 2 or 3 years now.
I have had it with my current ISP and this AP, I scarcely get 15 kb/s through the network to another computer (little alone the internet,) and I seriously think it's dying.

Is this a sign I need a new AP or is it normal for it to do this?

Did you install a new phone to your house or something?

No, we're using the same stuff as before. It's never happened until a month ago.

Still need to know if it's my computer, or my AP.
