Don't buy anything until after 2012.

Edit: Don't buy any Apple products until 2012. Tons of a new ones will come out between now and then, and you'll hate yourself for not waiting.

Its either iPod Touch or a new bike
both would be relatively around the same price

I was thinking about just getting a bike and then getting another job and saving up to buy an iPod or what not

Yes, get the bike.

Do that. A bike is a good investment, and the ipod isn't a necessity although it's good to have.

What would you use the bike for? Like...transport or recreational riding or trick riding?

Since when do phones have a monthly cost?

Trail-riding is fun, very exhilarating. I would consider investing quite a bit into a good trail bike if that's what you're into. Trail riding is sometimes rough on the bike, so you want a solid one that can hold up against some tough work, and usually a bike between 350 and 500 will do the job very well. Although you may just want the cheaper bike, then keep up repair on it, which will ultimately cost you the same as an excellent bike right off the bat.

I've got a spec. hard rock, I've had many a good time with this bike.
Mine is red and greyish though.

And then people will be telling him to wait after that because even NEW stuff is coming.
