David crept silently against the wall. He came close to something about silver.


"That's the truth, I swear. I needed to deliver that stuff to a guy who lost it."

"Yeah, right." I kicked him in the face. "Try again."

"Wha-sh"
David shut himself up.

"Okay, I was here to scout out the base for a friend."
Not true, but believable.


David slid across the wall silently, but stumbled over something.
He dropped his gun that fired off.

"OH THE loving-" the bullet hit the wall next to me, and I pulled out my gun, again.

David rolled across the floor for his gun.

I shot the gun out of his reach. "Why me?"

The bullet nearly missed his hand.
He kept rolling to the other side of the doorway.
He reached into his pocket.

"Woah buddy, this gun is pointed at your head, I can kill you, right here, right now."

Love using leverage.

David stopped where he was.
"...Butterfingers...?"
