i run around with waffles a bit until i suddenly fall into a deep hole. it must of been some delicate gorund or a purposely-set trap "HELP ALEX!" "OH NO THERE ARE MUTANTS DOWN HERE!"

"Crap." I sighed, jumping down into the manhole, my Glock raised. Three shots, three drops, three dead bodies. I quickly took everything they had on them, besides clothing, and pushed the kid back up the hole. I climbed up afterwards.

Where are more people?

Underground bunker.

I walked through the city cautiously, R700 raised. I fired at anything I thought I heard.

I stepped over a manhole and noticed it was loose. I stomped down on it a couple times.

Nothing happened, so I moved on. I heard a pang behind me. I whirled around and fired the R700 at what looked to be a creature. It fell into a heap. "I've never seen an animal like this..." I mused. I tapped it with the gun's tip, then moved on.

I noticed another manhole, but it had a fence around it. "What is this?" I said, tapping it with the gun.

A flying mutant bird swoops down and grabs me "HELP!" it flys away to a big mountain of trash far in the distance

I saw a bird carrying a human away. I fired at the bird a couple times, but it did nothing.

I opened the manhole cover.
"Who the- Holy crap, is that a Roc?"

The roc turned, and screeched in his ears. There were eggs near him, and they looked like they were going to hatch. One crack, then two....
The newborn birds hopped out, screeching.

I climbed out of my bunker to see nothing, put on my mask, and started walking, bat ready.
There was some whining.
I turned around, and looked down, to see Candy clawing at the ladder.
"I'll be back, you watch Jake" I said sweetly as I walked away again.
