We're in my tiny bunker, which the entrance is a manhole.

Candy buried her face into my chest.
"I'm only 13! Leave me alone!"

"We need help, and you'll be safer with us than you'll be here."

Blatant lie.

"I've been here for three years! I'm perfectly safe!"

"Ssh." Jamie said, stepping forward, giving her weaponry to Shinenzu. She knelt down, "We're not raiders, we are survivors. We're sane, plus we want to help civilization return, and eliminate the mutants. We're kind people. Please, trust me, Max." She said in a calming, slightly soothing voice.

"Safer? Do you really think so? You just bust in and you expect us to join you?"

I lowered my head, covering my already hidden face with my hair even more.
"I can't just leave..."

"Safer? Do you really think so? You just bust in and you expect us to join you?"

"Not really, but I was kinda hoping he would be a little more cooperative."

"Just listen to the woman who could be our savior for repopulation!" Shinenzu sighed. "Look, we may've busted in, but that's mainly because Alex is handicapped sometimes. We have a overground base, and the grass grew around it. If you come with us, we can all be safe, and live as friends, or die as enemies." She said.

Has a strange intuition to head to a bunker. I shoot the distracted mutant in the face and walk in a random direction, determined to find it. I eventually see it n the distance, and starts to run/jog. I  start to realize they may not be friendly, and I load my gun (a Colt m1911). I open the door and see people. "Hello?"

Candy looked up and started to show her teeth, knowing I was scared.
"You can't just expect me to leave because you kneel down and talk to me in a soothing tone!"

Also, my bunker is only accessible through a manhole, and a ladder.

"forget it, plan B." Shinenzu said, shooting the kid in the foot. Jamie stood up abruptly, and slapped Shinenzu, shoving him into the wall. "You loving idiot! This is why I broke up with you in the first place!"

Alright then. I walk around a bit and find a manhole. I rap on the manhole, hurting my hand in the process, hoping someone hears.

Shinenzu raises his HK16 towards the manhole, taking a shot from the trigger, blasting a bullet through the manhole, into the survivor above's hand.

I screeched in agony.
Candy started barking.
