"I can already tell you we need ammo." Shinenzu said, looking in his magazine. 21 bullets left of all. He'd lost most of his mags into the mutants. Jamie passed him a magazine.

I reloaded my Glock, and my SVD. "So, what now? Search for survivors, or fortify this place?"

"I'll search for survivors with Red. You should stay and fortify." Shinenzu said.

"Kay." I went out grabbed some materials from the other buildings, and got to work fortifying the building.

Jamie helped out with some of the lifting, whilst Shinenzu and Red were running through the streets. "HELLO!? Anyone there!?" Shinenzu called out for the fifth time. He looked around, HK16 in hand.

I heard people calling.
"Great, more people to take up space in this house" I said as I climbed the ladder.
I lifted the manhole slightly to see people walking in the distance.
I shot back down the ladder and grabbed my bat.
"We got raiders"

"Raiders? Great." I pulled out my pistol and slipped in a fresh clip.

After we finished up fortifying the building, I stepped out, locked the door, and met up with Shinenzu. "Anything?"

"No. Not really." He said. Jamie was annoyed by something.

"Eh, I'll just..." I backed away, letting Jamie talk to Shinenzu.

I peeked out again.
"They're coming... Get ready..."

[MAY WE INITIATE A FIVE MINUTE TIMESKIP.]
Jamie sighed, speaking in a low tone to Shinenzu. Red sat by Alex, wagging his tail.

I pet the dog, and then scratched his belly.

"Okay, Fine." Shinenzu sighed, whilst Jamie walked back over to Alex. Red knew what happened, roostering his head curiously.
