Author Topic: A bunch of strange files found on my computer. What are they? (Read 709 times)

I was cleaning out my computer when I found these folders in my Local file

There are 247 in this folder alone. I opened a few and there is nothing inside. Im sure I should just delete them but what are they?

Just checked and a few of my untamed computers have these. By untamed I mean ones I don't really maintain regularly file-wise.
They haven't caused any harm so far. They look like something has borked, or maybe error codes? Hard to tell.

I think all computers have them, I do and most of them empty.

They look like activation keys.

Usually temporary data stores that were used for installations or whatever.
