It happens all the time whenever you use adfly

Well apparently Facemoods is just an extension, not a virus, therefore virus scanners can't see it. The program probably downloaded it onto my computer for no apparent reason. It was just a matter of changing my browser settings back and uninstalling the add on.

It drive by downloads and installs viruses onto your computer.
Uninstall that piece of stuff and run a scan in safe mode just to be safe.

I uninstalled it fairly soon after it was installed

How long do you think it would take to get viruses onto my computer via facemoods?
