Why do people even like recent lego games? They are all recycled!

More like kids like a lego version of their favorite movie. You noticed lego hasn't done a lego game outside of a movie in years except for Lego Rockband. Lego Rockband did not sell well so they didn't make Lego Rockband 2.

I don't understand why people love these new lego games of today and I don't understand why they get good reviews. Each lego game has been a recycled version off Lego Starwars.

Lego Starwars, Lego Harry Potter, Lego Batman, Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Pirates of The Caribbean are all the same stuff! Each one is a recycled version off Lego Starwars the only difference is the slight change of graphics and the change of texture. They all play the same, they all look the same, they all have the same stuffty gameplay formula.

Star Wars' use of the Force, easy-to-learn-difficult-to-master lightsaber combat, and astronomically(no pun intended) rich character customization.

As for Harry Potter, I have not played it.

It's not different enough to classify it as a whole new game. They are slight gameplay tweaks to match up the characters.

Let's say I take a lego starwars game and I add in handtohand combat and a boomerang, is that enough to change the game entirely?
