I feel all stiff and gross when I'm wearing my uniform.  I prefer a looser dress code, so I could focus on work instead of adjusting the uncomfortable clothes.

And yes I wash my uniform regularly.

Well it has been shown that school uniforms do have a connection to increased grades, I do not think it is a good trade off for stifling creative expression and free speech in the form of clothing.

My district has been fighting for a dress code for a long time, and they basically control every school on the Illinois side of the metropolitan area. Nobody is removing that anytime soon.
