Deadmau5 is overrated and i don't really see anything great about Daft Punk IMO.

deadmou5 puts me to sleep. like god, 80s movie ambient credits music.
and daft's old stuff is just that. way to old. techno dosnt age like other music, you need some modern stuff that you can dance to, or that fits a new club style. and daft's NEW stuff is just terrible.
