Alright so,

Getting the gigabyte you recommended. I'll buy the i5 whenever it goes back in stock and when I get Christmas money

I don't need the system running as soon as I get it. I have a okay system for now, but I want to take time and buy all this so atleast I have some of it here.

Where do you live? There's a store called Microcenter, they have REALLY good deals on processors. This Black Friday they were selling i5-2500Ks for $150 each. I luckily grabbed one and the motherboard I recommended to you. I recommend getting the processor from there, if you have one nearby.

Also, if you have already ordered the GIGABYTE board, try cancelling it if you have a Microcenter near you. Reason is, Microcenter has a deal, if you get the i5-2500K, you get $60 off a Z68 motherboard.

So, in total:

intel i5-2500k - $180
GIGABYTE Z68XP-UD3 - $80 (After rebate and deal)
$260. Same price as getting i3 and the motherboard I recommended. Great deal

So like this?

Yeah.

I'm now looking for a custom-built computer that costs up to $2500-3000.
A computer that is good for gaming.

Please.
What happened to $5000? :D
Just kidding, 3k will be HEAPS.
Just a few questions, do you need a copy of Windows 7? Do you need monitor(s)? Keyboard/mouse/speakers?

Why is Windows rating my HDD so low?

Its a Hitachi disk, dunno if it is 5,400 or 7,200 RPM. I don't trust Windows Experience Index because it's only a 500 GB drive, but still.. why?

I wish there were some good PC stores were I live. I should still check out the ones in my town.

Yeah.
forget that my dad say you should buy clothes and hes pissing me off and wont let me buy it and almost toke my money and cards.

The Windows thingy sucks TBH.

Also, from the other topic:

Citrus, you're making a mistake. You've turned down better specs for average ones that probably won't play TF2 well. The new SB Intel Graphics, like 3000, are nearly equal to about a 6550. And the i3-2310m is better than the AMD processors you have suggested.
I don't know if you will read this, but oh well. Why lock the topic? My god.
As I can't PM, could someone PM him for me? That would be a great help.

I shall help you out. I just want to see what I can come up with lol.

Have any suggestions? I'm not sure what to get.

Because in general, the typical magnetic platter hard drives tend to be slow because that's the way it is.  If you had an SSD it'd be a lot higher.  My ratings are from 7.2-7.9 but my HDD rating is 5.9.
