It's easy to find a PCI wifi card. My dad has one in his rig and it works just fine.

Download Driver Sweeper, boot in safe mode, and get rid of all your graphic drivers.
The fact that it's fine in Safe Mode when it doesn't initialize third party drivers makes me think that it is your drivers.
Sorry for being a total idiot but i have no idea how to do this on this program

You'll want to run it and tick the one which says 'your manufacturer - display'. Do you have an nVidia, AMD/ATI or Intel GPU? Then click Clean.

I have AMD-Display and NVIDIA-Display. So I tick AMD-Display and click clean? Ill do that now
OK I did that and I still get a black screen, but it goes back to normal after a few seconds so that's that fixed. Explorer still stops running afterwards, however

I bought a Corsair 650d and a Corsair H-100 and decided shortly after I didn't want those. Now I have to wait for them to get here and then about 5 days for the refund. Feels bad man

I'd recommend keeping the 650D. Really good case.

I heard really good things about it before purchasing it, then I was watching some reviews earlier and they were all rather bad.  I really really like the asthetics of it but I've heard it has bad airflow which I haven't hear about until watching some non sponsored reviews.  I'm thinking of getting a haf-x because right now I have a haf 932 and I've heard some really good things about it. For the cpu cooler im thinking about a noctua nh-d14

can someone recommend me some parts for a medium-gaming computer? I want to be able to play SC2 or host and play Minecraft on medium settings/high settings. I need it to be less than $500.

there are builds for various price points in the OP

Stick with the haf 932. HAF X will not be much better. At all.

I really just want a new case, im sick of the 932

I forget which HAF case it was, but there was an nVidia version of one of them. It was green and it looked lovey and I want it. :c

It was the HAF X

Now I haven't played sims 3 in ages this is because one of my AMD XFX 6870s died on me while playing the game. What is the chance that it was actually the game or a fault that was developed in the manufacturing process?

The problem was graphical artifacts such as complete colour and screen distortion and pixelation.

Could it have overheated to damage some of the circuitry or is there built-in mechanism that turns the computer off?

I have two XFX 6870s still since I replaced the broken one because it was recently purchased. I'm not running them on crossfireX instead I have two 24" 1080p resolution monitors.

Thanks for your help.
