So my computer kept hard shutting off all of a sudden. I had come to the conclusion that my power supply was failing. This made no sense because it's 700w and I'm definitely not using that much watts and I barely got it 5 months ago. I took it out and noticed some noises like something small was bouncing around in there. I opened it up and successfully extracted a small little a screw out of it. I don't know what it was from but it must of fell in. It hasn't failed after I took it out so I think that solved it. c:

I have a question, my laptop has been experiencing some problems. I don't know if it is my charger or laptop though. I plug in my charger, it works perfectly fine. Then 3 lights on my laptop start flashing (The power button, then there are two lights at the edge of my laptop, it's like a battery and a flashlight. usually they don't flash. But when they do, my computer stops charging. Is it my laptop or is it like because my power cord has a short in it?

Yes.

Are they at full charge when this happens?
Does it always happen at a certain %?

Got another PSU to test with?
It could be overheating, or some other failsafe.

I don't have another PSU and I doubt it's overheating. The inside of my case is cold and all 5 case fans are working. I don't smell that "Failing PSU" smell.

Which one of these video cards do you think is the best?
By that, I mean best "Bang for your buck"

GTX 560
GTX 550ti

550 is awful compared to 560

I'm looking at a budget build around $700 so I'm just wondering if there should be much difference buying the 560 instead.

What about a laptop for $400 or lower will it be able to run good games(LAPTOP).

A 560 is definitely worth it, a 550 is god awful

It's only a step below.  It's not "god awful" but it's less than a 560.

Well, to be honest, if you are doing a $700 build, you should be aiming for more than a 560.
Even a $500 build can achieve a HD6870, which is marginally better than a 560.
For $700, I'd expect an i5-2500k CPU and at least a HD6950, which is comfortably better than even a 560Ti.

Not really. You'd want to spend more than that if you wanted to game properly on it. Sure, it would run games, but very laggy and not very enjoyable.
If $400 is your absolute maximum budget then I'll pick you out the best one for that price if you wish.
