Good luck fitting a graphics card in there LEgodude. The case is a mini-tower. And probably won't even fit a 6770

Do I sound like I need a 6770?

This combo good or bad?

Neither here nor there.
The processor, yes it is a 6 core, but the architecture isn't fully appreciated yet by Windows, so you'd be better off just going for a Phenom Deneb or a Thuban.
It's quite good in the fact that it includes a 1TB HDD at that price.
However, the case and motherboard are both M-ATX, which is a small form factor. It wouldn't leave much room for a good graphics card or airflow.

My dad wants to install a phone jack into my room because it needs one, but we wouldn't be able to do that around the time I get my computer. So I need to buy a wireless adapter for my pc. What I'm asking is should I buy one you just plug into a usb port or one you would install on a PCI or PCI Express lane?
I'd go for a PCI one, they are better for signals and compatibility.

Don't you game?
The 6770 is a medium range card, and are quite small in terms of physical size.

Spook, I'll look at your suggestion soon. Thanks.

Ok, I'm not looking for a $1500 gaming PC that could run any game on ultra high. I'm just looking for something way better than this 4 year old Dell that we got. This is perfect for my needs. I would probably just get like a 5670 or something a little bit higher whenever I get the money.

The things were saying is not for a $1500 gaming PC.

Still, this will do just fine for me.

We are saying for a, maybe $500 system.

Unless you could fine me a better build for that price or lower, I'll probably stick with it.

The price of the combo?

Hmm, since I'm going to install Linux on it, I might not buy the GPU right now. That would then put it under ~$370. Thanks again.

EDIT: What wireless adapter do you recommend? It would have to be one that would work with Linux.

Wouldn't have a clue about wireless and Linux sorry.
Also, the onboard GPU isn't that bad either, so you'll be fine without the GPU.
