Any company that bases their systems on Macs is pretty rich and probably not the brightest and likely hangs around Apple stores in his free time for fun.
what
lol

Personally, I feel macs are more business-oriented, they should only be used for productivity and owrk. If you're going to be doing stuff other than just office use, then you should go with Windows.

Macs are more arts-y crap too.  Windows is just as good at office/productivity.

lol wat you use microsoft office for that stuff anyways, which is the same on windows/mac, basically.

all art-y software is the same on pc as on mac :-/ adobe suites, etc. no advantage to using a mac

my friend tried to argue that his 4 year old mac that he spent $2k on "performed well"

the moment he said "duo core processor" I lost it. laughed so hard. then he went on about how macs are good for gaming. lol'd even harder.

Are they at full charge when this happens?
Does it always happen at a certain %?
Sorry I replied late, but it usually happens very often, like every 3 to 5 minutes.

Is it physically possible to remove a Motherboard chipset from a motherboard?

Without proper sautering and compatibility issues, no. It's really not worth it.

I'm looking at getting a Blu-Ray reader (or writer) for christmas, perferably SATA, but if you could find an IDE one, that would be awesome as hell. I'd perfer NCIX.com for the site, as the package doesn't come over the border, so I don't have to pay HST (13% of entire purchase price.)
I was looking at this ASUS one, as my motherboard (and chassis) are ASUS as well. I know that's insignificant, I just believe that it's an incredibly reliable brand.

I don't know about IDE ones, but they would be pretty low bandwidth right? Wouldn't be worth the step up from DVD, IMO.
That one looks solid.

Yes, but I wouldn't bother.

Sounds to me like a battery problem more so than a cord problem, though I could be wrong.
Have you checked the connection terminals between the battery and the laptop chassis? It could be slipping.

Quick, what 1 stick of 4gb ram that is under $20 do you suggest? Has to be 1333 or less memory standard whatever.

Just get a dual pack, you could get one for $30.

Ethan, are you doing an IT Practitioners course?

I've almost finished my first term.

I've almost finished my first term.
Nope.
Practitioners? What is that in laymans terms?

Nope.
Practitioners? What is that in laymans terms?

Practitioner = someone who practices something, I would assume. So if you practice medicine like Medic you're a medical practitioner.
