Hnnng, $30 is a little too much for me. Yes I could afford it but then that would mean less money left over. Got any other ones a little cheaper?

I recently bought a new laptop, which performs quite well, except for one problem. The touchpad does not work if I hold down a key. It works fine in every other situation, except for when I hold down a key. Do any of you guys know a fix for this problem? I have already looked in the options but I found nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

What model is the laptop?

What model is the laptop?
It's an HP Pavilion Dv6t Quad Edition, apparently. I now realize that maybe HP doesn't have the best build quality but it was quite good for the price.

Uh, HP are possibly the best mainstream prebuilt brand.

What's the exact model?

i.e my HP laptop is a DV6-6030TX.

Where would I find that information?

My alienware m11x runs so much better with a full 4GB.  I'm actually considering trying Skyrim on it.

Nevermind, I fixed it. It turns out that it was the palm check thing. It's working fine now.

Hmm, should I sacrifice 8gb to 4gb so that I could afford a better wireless adapter?

You'll never really use more than 4GB anyways, so go for it.

Is it possible to run different models of GPUs in SLI? I have an EVGA GTX 560 Ti Ds Superclocked. Would having SLI with a Twin Frozor 2 560 Ti run the same?

What else are you buying?  If you're getting pretty high end parts, I'd stick with 8GB.

If it's anything like AMD/ATI graphics cards, yes, but if one is clocked higher it will have to either run at the speed of the lower clocked card.

There's not much difference between the two, to be honest. Just go for the Rosewill.

ya

What Steve said. I believe you'd have to overclock one to match the other or underclock one to match the other.
Although Twin Frozr II won't have any problems overclock to, or even exceeding the clock of the EVGA card.
Just so long as they are both 560Ti cores. Which they are.

I use a mac...

with a Windows 8 Developer Preview partition :D I would honestly prefer Win 7, but I'm not going to say no to Win 8. I really like Win 7 actually, it appears to work quite flawlessly in our school environment in which 90% of the machines are Windows.
No surprise, I don't mean to incite flamewar but as far as I can tell Mac's are not good for mainframes.  Any company that bases their systems on Macs is pretty rich and probably not the brightest and likely hangs around Apple stores in his free time for fun.

The only Macs in my school are for the TV studio club/software art classes.
