I've just realized that my adapter isn't slow. It gets the same download speeds as my other desktop with the router does!

No, This is not the case.
It only takes one PCIe lane, but it uses two slots on the case.

Oh.
Well here is a picture anyway:

The dark blue one with the little extra piece of plastic is a PCI-E lane

Ok then, Thanks!

And tomorrow (if I stop being lazy,) I'll be installing XP to dual-boot, as quite a few of my devices don't work with Windows 7 x64. I've already failed once trying to do this (and sequentially fixed it,) and I think may have it down.
Did you try troubleshooting compatibility?

Also, what do you mean by:

Sorry, I'm not very good at this stuff.

It only uses that slot with the bit on your motherboard, but takes the space of 2 cards.

They are all deactivated products that only have 32-bit drivers.

As I can see from the photo, you have one lane below it free. That's good.
However, that looks like a micro ATX board.
To be sure you have enough room, could you measure the distance parallel to the PCI-E lane, from the rear of the case to the front of the case?

Just got my stuff. Can't wait to go back home and install it. :D

I always make sure I order stuff when I'm going to be home for like, a week.
Like when I ordered my logitech suite (G9x, G19, G13, G35, G27 + a mousepad and other stuff). I was home the entire week, and had nothing to do, so the moment that fat greasy legend walked up the stairs with 2 huge boxes, I could immediately shake with excitement and unbox it.

However, that looks like a micro ATX board.
How can you tell, holy stuff...  I can't even tell.

Any chance you could make a nvidia/intel system in this small case at around a $700-$800 budget?

So I'm measuring from one side of the case to the other?

From the rear (where you plug everything in) to the front (where the CD drive etc is), parallel to the long PCI-E port.

200w PSU?
No.
If you have $800, you could make an awesome gaming system, but that is tiny and wouldn't do much, and you'd have to use integrated graphics because of the low wattage PSU.

The SouthBridge heatsink is too close to the bottom.

If I get a solid state drive, how much will my preformence increase? I've got an nvidia geforce 9400m, 5 gigs of ram, and a core 2 duo.
