That's 2x1 GB.
The 2x4GB models seem to cost around 160 bucks.

i now need a double monitor display without spending $400, or a free remote desktop tool

Teamviewer?

Alright, I got my new mobo and installed it, everything is working fine right now

Well, almost everything. For some reason the graphics card won't work, the fan spins and such but it's not putting any image on the screen. Do I need to install drivers for it? Or could the problem be that the on-boards graphics for the mobo is nvidia? (The card is also nvidia)

Any help would be appreciated

If your GPU needs extra power, are those plugged in? Also make sure your GPU is connected properly and securely. Try other DVI/VGA/HTMI plugs if nothing else works.

The power cord is connected from the PSU, and I'm pretty sure it's in securely

Check in the bios for if its using the onboard graphics, also try plugging the monitor into onboard graphics.

I'm using that right now, and it is in-fact using the onboard graphics, and the automatic nvidia driver locator "thingy" on their website fails to detect the other card

I have $150 how good of a graphics card can I get for this amount?

I've been needing to ask these somewhat important questions since I first built my new computer (a few months ago).

1: I have an issue with standby on my computer. If I try to 'awaken' the computer from standby, the display never turns back on. It's nothing to do with the monitor, and I don't think I can hear the fans from my GPU while this is happening.

I confirmed that everything responds 'normally', just the screen never turns on.
I have to force my computer to reboot in order to fix it.

2: I cannot see any pattern to it, sometimes when I turn on my computer normally windows will appear to try to boot for a moment, but then it switches to a black screen and stays this way, forcing me to reboot.

Neither issue is actually preventing me from using my computer, they're just really obnoxious nuisances.

Sometimes you have to disable the integrated as the primary card and enable the card as the primary.

HAHAHA DISREGARD THIS, THE ENTIRE DESKTOP WINDOW MANAGER EXECUTABLE WAS MISSING
