No, a bigger cache is ideally better.  Why would you ever think that?

Even so, the cache won't make much of a noticeable difference, 32 or 64 megabytes.

I changed my words around in the post while I was writing it, from "Isn't 64mb better than 32mb" to "Is 32mb better than 54mb". I forgot to change the "isn't" to "is"

Hey guys, I'm at my sisters right now on her 4 year old macbook is really slow. I'm already thinking about defraging the hard drive, and dusting it out. What are some other option you guys have for me.

Just went to frys and checked out the prices compared to newegg. They had everything we needed plus some of the prices were better. Going this weekend to buy the parts then build it :D

I have $170 to spend on a new GPU to replace this old 9800GT, and I'm looking at this card. I'm curious if any of you more techy people know of a better card of equal or lower (haha) price.

(I was previously looking at this card but it went out of stock, so I found this one for $10 more)

Or if there's something about the card that seems to make it a bad choice, some sort of advice. Otherwise, I'll just purchase it within a week.

interestingly, i had also looked at Radeon cards some time ago too and found this one (a 6850) which at the time was $150.
