I'm thinking of buying a Windows 8 gaming computer on my birthday. Anyone with Windows 8 have suggestions on what rig I could get?
none. windows8 sucks. dont get it.
also build your own computer and put windows 7 on it. if you can't build a computer, find someone who can, chances are you'll know someone. buy all the parts, give them to them and give 'em 50 bucks.

Idk what is wrong though, the PC is ice cold, and if it were 214 Celsius it should be radiating heat, right?
I imagine it would, I can't really believe that its that hot.

it might explode if it were, right?

you have until about 2000 degrees Fahrenheit when it melts so

ah.
well, gamebooster still derped.

I've been wondering, is Windows 8 actually any better? Or is it just Windows 7 in a tablet interface? Does it run better, faster, stronger than 7? (I don't want to get 8 anyways, I'm just wondering.)

Upgrading to windows 8 right now would be a /very/ bad idea.

Any love for my keyboard?

It was  between that, and the Razer Blackwidow ultimate.

I'm /very/ happy with my choice.

you get slightly lower framerates in 8 then 7.

From what I've heard, Microsoft did a lot of magic with the kernel. Windows 8 uses a lot less memory than Windows 7, for instance. Sadly, they managed to undo this by forcing users to constantly run Internet Explorer in the background.

Good choice.  The Blackwidow Ultimate is an overpriced piece of plastic keyboard, even if it is mechanic.

*And made by IOSTAR*
That's why I decided on the quickfire rapid rather than another CM Storm one, this one was made by the same OEM that used to make Filcos. Super high quality keyboards, and for $60 it was a no brainier.

Windows 8 is absolutely amazing, it's so much of an improvement of w7. I'd definitely recommend it, even for $40

that is not true, it gave me at least 10 more fps in all my games.
