Maybe it's just bad games, or the AMD beta drivers (lol yeah right it happens on all of their drivers), but AMD seems to be a terrible company. I can't run 50% of the games I actually like on Steam because they won't even launch. One week they'll launch, the next they won't.

I definitely won't buy AMD again.

Test 1 failed. L.A. Noire didn't get past "Syncing" It started fine, go to the "L.A. Noire" Sign. Bottom right corner just says.. Syncing... for 10 minutes straight.

What is your graphics card and do you have the latest driver. Could it possibly be your internet connection, firewall, anything possibly blocking the game.

Trying verifying the files by right clicking on the game in your library > properties > local files. Then run the LA Noire.exe in admin mode, if it requests access to your hard drive like it does for me you should allow it.

That happens to me with Civ 5. The 12-6 beta fixed it for me but it took a day to kick in for some reason. What games can't you run?

I closed and ran it again. It actually worked this time. Working much better than my old card. But It was being buggy as hell first time. If I have anymore problems I'll try updating drivers and what not. For right now... It has been a really.. really.. long day. I think i'm just gonna try and sit back and relax.

Welp that didn't take long. Tried to get on facebook. No images are loading.
Seems to be a home page only problem. Signing in fixed it. This is so weird :S

If your games don't launch than its not your video cards fault lol.

Unless you have a log in which it states it has something to do with your video card, that too with most of your games.

I have a 6870 and it maxes out all games at around 50fps, including games like bf3 and crCIA 2, absolutely
Love it <3

Oh forget. I'm having issues now.
Everything is acting a little weird now. Tried to play tf2, but when I clicked on my backpack it wouldn't load. Tried the store. "Item Store requires Steam internet connection" Any ideas? Never had this problem up until now. Also can't set my clock to internet time.

Did you mess with the CPU when you took everything out of your original case? If you took it out, you might have bent some prongs (assuming it's an AMD CPU)

Nope. Things started running a bit smoother after the first restart. But I'm having serious issues with security. I'm not able to connect to alot of things. Can't play tf2 online, having issues loading pages, can't use internet time, etc. I think all this stuff if from that damn Checksum error. Any idea on how to fix any of this?

Tried running Garrysmod.

Fun times... Fun times.

If you're up to it, reformatting the computer would definitely help it run smoother with new drivers and what not

damn, i had that problem on my other computer the XP.
after that, it gave me a B.S.O.D.

Why does everyone like AMD? Well, what how many watts in the PSU. Also I have another good computer for you (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/buyS). Epic GPU!

IF you get 2500k get z68, also that gpu is lacking for that cpu

If you bent a pin the computer would completely fail to start with a CPU error. Not only that, but due to the design of the connection it wouldn't be possible to fit a processor with bent pins in. Also Intel processors have pins as well, not just AMD. The connection type is known generally as a zero insertion force connection. Having issues with the clock and steam sounds like a network issue.

I'm not looking to play games on it.
