Also, I'm considering purchasing a SSD just because of their performance. Is it really worth it? I have a 1TB and a 650GB HDD in this thing right now.

I noticed a difference when going from 4gb to 8gb. If you're building a computer today there's no reason to not get at least 8gb considering how cheap it is.

Mmhm, RAM is very affordable. If you have a gaming machine, its almost a waste to not go for 8GB. Slam dat stuff in there.

8gb is a good amount, don't really need more for average use.
