Author Topic: Blockland.exe has stopped working (Read 2721 times)

For some reason, at seemingly random moments, Blockland just shuts down. Gives me the little "Blockland.exe has stopped working." And closes. No idea why.
But since I have so little details on this, I don't know if it can be solved either :/

What map were you in? This seems to happen to me on certain maps. Also, a console log would be nice.

Twice it happened on my own server, adjustable plate. Then it happened on someone elses server on slate or something, all on the same day.
And since I've never really needed to know, I'm not exactly sure what a console log is. lol

First try to recreate the issue. Then open your Blockland folder (the one in Documents) and find the console.log file. Post that.

This is interesting. I'm having similar problems, except whenever it goes to the main screen, it just shuts down there.

K, I'll try to go to some server with a lot of people or something and I'll hopefully crash again..

Hmm.. it doesn't seem to be happening again.
Maybe it was just a temporary problem?

Start your own server using the same map, addons, config, everything. If you crash, post your console log.

Also, did this happen after you updated Slayer to v2.3 yesterday? I put a bright red announcement in the auto updater that said to restart Blockland after downloading or you'd crash.

I tried doing everything the same, didn't seem to work. it also happened when I was on someone elses server. And it hasn't happened since, strangely.

And it did happen after I updated to the next version of slayer, but I also restarted
