Screamers are an old prank found almost everywhere.
I remember a screamer in 2006 of a harlequin baby with it's skin peeling off, i couldn't stop thinking about it for months, it was just horrible.

I was hardened against Screamers when I was loving EIGHT and was watching something with the volume obsurdly loud and then the scary maze game thing came up

Every time I watch a YouTube video of interest that takes a while to get warmed up or has a lot of thumbs downs, I get suspicious. Always check the video comments, if you see any of the following run:

"That isn't funny starfish"

"I jumped out of my chair"

"Haha didn't scare me"

I get shocked pretty easily.
Hell I often jump if I'm sitting at my computer and I see my mom walk into the room and say something.

I see her walk in and don't get shocked until she says something.
It's weird. It's like I knew she was there, but I also didn't.
