Nope. Go with the 2500k, way better for the price range.
Unless you currently have an AM3+ motherboard, then it's probably the best bet and cheaper.

Save your money.
People have already done that, it's called benchmarks.

I want to do it for myself, because benchmarks you get on the internet are not always 100% reliable.
Besides, my brother wants a better computer than what he has right now.
