Normally for a song to be Dubstep it has to have around 140 BPM.
tempo doesn't decide genre
or so I would hope

Yeah, I think you guys are getting too technical with the definitions.

" Dubstep rhythms are usually syncopated, and often shuffled or incorporating tuplets. The tempo is nearly always in the range of 138-142 beats per minute, with a clap or snare usually inserted every third beat in a bar. "

You know what, you guys are talking about early Dubstep. I think the definition of Dubstep changed fairly quickly within four years.

in a bar
what does that even mean
why can't people use real music terms?
rather than this handicapped stuff, I don't even know what a bar is
a measure?
I don't even know

take some god damn music theory classes if you're going to do this sort of stuff

Can anyone find me some songs or a genre of dubstep that is more toned down? I mean, I like the bass and all but I prefer other instruments and beats included aswell.
