Portal 2 being a huge friend and not running

I bought the game,
Installed it,
ran it,

and then this stuff happens:

I didn't record this though but this is exactly what happened.

what I've tried:

• Reinstalling 2 times
• Changing the resolution
• Verifying the local files
• E-mail steam - (They didn't respond)
• Deleting ClientRegister.blob (And retarting steam)
• Running as Administrator

Do I really have to install some weird ass crack to make this work?

Or is there another thing I haven't tried?
