Has anyone else noticed this?

I have noticed that there is more and more zombie related stuff coming out. And its getting more and more popular. I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed and knows why. I personally love zombies, probably because they have not been turned into sparkly fairy's yet.

I mean is, over the past few years. I know its that time of the year, but I'm talking about over the past few years they are getting more and more popular. I have no problem whats so ever with this, just curious to why the sudden boost in popularity.

zombies are scary and cool, the more people are exposed to zombies the more stuff comes out about zombies. i say stuff because most of the stuff is trash, but then again, some of it is pretty good.

I enjoy most every zombie based thing that has come out. I agree a few are bad, but think about all the good ones:
Resident evil
I Am Legend
Dawn of the Dead
Dead Island
Dead Rising 1-2
World war Z
Walking Dead. ect.

They count. It was a virus that killed people then brought them back. So it counts.

The only decent zombie movies were Last Man On Earth, Dawn of the Dead, and I Am Legend.
