what is your opinion on doublestepping? (jumping on every other stair to get to the top quicker) do you believe it to be dangerous and stupid, or do you find it quick and effective?

i do it pretty much like 80% of the time in my own home, but it takes a while adjusting to other stairs.

it's weird because with an odd number of steps if you don't start on top of the first step the last step is going to feel like you're leaping over the grand canyon or something.

I do it for quickness. I don't see how you could find it stupid.

I do it every time I climb the stairs in my home lol

I'm not exactly sure how it takes adjusting or how it feels weird with an odd number of steps honestly...

I do it all the time, I've lost my footing a few times but have always recovered.

i do it because i can do it without hurting myself

I do it up and down stairs, because I'm coordinated like that. I don't ever trip myself up. It's faster, and more effective. It feels like i exert more energy with individual steps, and I don't go nearly as far up the stairs.

With the stairs in my house, I almost always double step because I can get a running start and use that momentum to just send me up the stairs without even trying. It's fun.

I sometimes skip a stair, but i'd rather not

you guys talk about it like it's a sport
it's just walking up stairs lol

it is a sport lol.

it might as well be.

there should be like challenges and stuff to see how many stairs people can hop at one time or stuff i dunno.

I agree, we should put 5 foot hurtles all the way up a flight of stairs and see how far anyone gets.

Always, at home, school, where ever

i triple step sometimes, but usually doublestep

I double step up stairs, run down stairs and jump from the 5th to last step every time.
Never once fallen over doing it

Lol, I always just go up on all fours , quicker, without skipping steps.  :cookieMonster:
