Author Topic: A man releases a stuffload of lions in ohio and then kills himself.  (Read 3464 times)

I live near Zanesville, the town where the animals (bears, wolves, tigers, etc. Not just lions) were released. Those cigarettes got a day off school. ;_;

Also, the police department hasn't released a cause of death that I know of. Unless they have definitive proof already, anyone saying he commited Self Delete is wrong. For all we know, a radical animals rights group could have broken in and killed him, then set the animals free to protest his cruelty to animals he's owned in the past.
I thought you were 30. lolwat

Actually I was thinking of that Jurassic park movie, they don't want to be fed they want to hunt! I just didn't word it right.
so if they're aggressive it means they want to hunt?

He shot himself with a shotgun after letting the animals out of their cages so they could eat his body.

And I'm not joking.

WHY WOULD THEY SHOOT THE loving ANIMALS

GOD DAMN

That's like, really loving stupid. "oh hurr durr lets shoot 50+ lions who gives a flying forget if they're endangered!!"

That statement was like, really loving stupid.

"oh hurr durr lets shoot 50+ lions that pose a threat to the loving town!!"

Would you rather kill a few lions rather then have them eat some people?
We have more lions, it's not we'll kill them all.

They're not hard to capture and contain, and they're mostly accustomed to life in the park. They would only pose a great threat if they were starving and everyone was running around outside of a house.

While it's sad that the lions had to be shot, the guy most likely starved them for days prior.  The whole point of "Getting Revenge" with a wild animal is to train it to literally kill for you.

An example would be illegal dog fighting.

Those lions most likely were mentally ruined by the guy - someone who commits Self Delete isn't exactly sane.

And suddenly it's like everyone forgets what tranquilizer is and go "call of duty" on the lions.

Exactly

After catching them, what do you think they'll do with a stuff-ton of lions?  Release them into the wild and expect them to live fulfilling lives?

The guy most likely raised them himself.  They don't buy full grown wild lions and "tame" them.

Though I'm hardly saddened or against the animals having been shot, I find it strange that animal rehabilitation cannot be practiced in Zoos or tranqed and sent back to where they should be.

You're forgetting that they were in a public park zoo. If they were being 'trained to kill', they would have shown signs of that whilst people were there.

Lesson learned. Never keep anything rare or exotic in America. It will only end up shot.

Bullstuff. We are running out of lions, we have more humans.
