Nope.
You're wrong. As stated before:
Khaddafy, Gaddafi, Gadhafi, Quaddafi

Who cares?
Ive seen all these

Khaddafy, Gaddafi, Gadhafi, Quaddafi

Who cares?
Ive seen all these
ikr

maybe if he took his money and his army and his concubines and left he wouldn't be dead
the libyan rebels actually offered that, but gaddafi was just being stupid
and being stupid = dead (not big surprise)

Wikipedia says his countries flag is just green. One green rectangle.
Its a muslim thing, I forget what the whole reason is though.

Khaddafy is hilariously wrong, and a very rare form of spelling his name at that. For English speakers is Gaddafi, the news source you saw was wrong. However literally you could also write it as "Qaddafi"-- though Arabic speakers pronounce it with a softer G, hence why the English translation is best kept as Gaddafi, as Libyan news sources often do.

Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muammar_Gaddafi

Spelled Gaddafi in:
New Zealand Herald
The Guardian
Brisbane Times
The Voice of Russia
BBC News

and more...

Corrected as "Muammar Gaddafi" by Google when variation is entered.

Evidence of the issue and why the news source you read may be wrong:

Quote
According to a 2009 blog post from ABC news, there are over 112 ways  that news media has written the name of possibly crazy Libyan president, Muammar Qaddafi, since 1998. ABC, by the way, spells it Moammar Gaddafi.

You say, Gaddafi, we say Qaddafi. Other variations on the leader of Libya include "Gathafi," "Kadafi," and "Gadafy," creating an unholy mess for newspaper editors.

There. Lol.

Regardless, spelling it "Omar Khaddafy" is simply handicapped and where ever you got that from... perhaps you shouldn't cite information from there again.

Good, because they also spell it correctly at one point:

After Gaddafi, can U.S. keep Libya at arm's length?

As you can see, this has to do with the editor. Turns out the article with the name spelled wrong was via Associated Press. Please quit being so proud and just spell it right. Ignorance is no good for anyone.

1: When the hell did I say I was proud
2: I watched the TV and took it from there
3: It can be spelled either way
Last: Stop being a smartass

The death of a man who killed thousands of people, who committed crimes beyond the imaginable yet when it came to his death he apparently begged for mercy, to spare his life.

1: When the hell did I say I was proud

You don't need to say it for everyone to see it, bub.

2: I watched the TV and took it from there

Oh yeah, that is why you had a link to post. Still Associated Press content.

3: It can be spelled either way

Sure, if you want to act like a redneck.

*strums banjo

lol
Why are we arguing about spelling

I BELIEVE THE CORRECT TERM IS Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi!!!!

Correct term is "ded".
