Snowboarding & Skiing

Don't have much to put here, but it's gonna be snowboarding season soon. I'm planning on buying my first board, as last year I would use my friends.

So, discuss snowboarding and skiing here I guess.

QUESTION: What should I look for in a snowboard/boots/bindings? I ride goofy, btw.

Although I only boarded for one year, I really REALLY liked the click in bindings, they are great to use

Oh god yes. I remember my first jump

Storytime: My friend was convincing me every day to hit a box, and after a month, I finally tried it. I hit the box, MID AIR WIND IN FACE. Sucess. My friend then flipped over and broke his collar bone. What a noob.

Don't pick a snowboard based on how colourful it is. (go to your ski shop, they know all the stuff)
I'd suggest strap bindings, if you don't mind the extra couple seconds of not boarding.


On a relative note, anyone here do jumps with Ski's?
