I like this. It's really interesting. I keep winding up focusing on the pads too much though.. so that I can't really get into it.

Not really something you get into, It's designed to be an ambient piece where a sound is stretched and rhythm is mentioned as less as possible.

A lot of those sounds sound like they're stressful to me. When I hear a specific sound in music I normally find its 'stressfulness' relative to other sounds in the song.. And since most of the song consists of that chilled out, soft pad, everything sounds 'harder' than the pad making me not feel relaxed. Idk. Its just not making me feel 'relaxed.'

Also Riot, you think I don't know that? Plus if it's music there's no reason to not get into it. That's the point.

Wasn't considering  you didn't, I was merely pointing it out.

Then why bother lol plus why quote my post

it only slows the heartrate because of the heartbeat in the background

I agree, those pads are getting a little too bright in the song. Kind of kills any relaxation for me. :/

plus why quote my post

That's not a relevant concern, plus the answer should be obvious.

It made me queasy.

I honestly think it's not about the music but what in the music someone focuses on. And if you bring that one part out more than it should be brought out, it makes it less enjoyable. So. In saying that, I would say that you could find any music relaxing. Even gabber and hardstyle trance.
